Sofie Paludanus is a PhD candidate at BRAIC and Force Health Protection of CEAG. In 2023, she obtained her master's degree in Clinical Neuropsychology at Leiden University and gained clinical experience in diagnosing neurological disorders at the Hague Medical Center. After her research internship, she worked as a research assistant on a cognitive and MRI study of the reward system in bipolar and psychotic disorders at Erasmus MC.
Sofie’s doctoral research is about mild traumatic brain injury, or concussions, in military personnel and veterans. Her passion lies in combining clinical expertise with scientific research to gain both in-depth insight into brain health and generate practical, directly applicable knowledge.
