Biography

Eva is a research intern at the BRAIC since November. After a bachelor's degree in Psychology with studies in neuro- and cognitive & neurobiological Psychology, she is now pursuing a master's degree in Neuroscience & Cognition at Utrecht University. She is particularly interested in how the processes within the brain work and how they can be influenced. She has been researching the effects of brain stimulation and additional electric shocks on the arm on approach-avoidance motivation. In addition to brain stimulation, she is also interested in how hormones can influence behavior, specifically extreme behaviors, which is reflected in her current internship. Eva will mainly collaborate with the UNPHASED research.
