Biography
Yudith Haveman worked a at the Brain Research and Innovation in 2021-2022. After obtaining a (research focussed) master degree in Neuroscience at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (2019) and in Clinical Neuropsychology at Leiden University, she has worked as a certified health care assistant for people with acquired brain injuries and neurological disorders. Additionally, as a research assistant, she has contributed to the HAMLETT study, which studies the effects of (dis-)continuation of prescribing antipsychotics to patients that have had a first psychotic episode.
During previous internships and jobs, Yudith has gained experience in working with different patient categories (acquired brain injuries, multiple sclerosis, psychosis, anorexia nervosa, patients in crisis situations) and with different methods of acquiring research data (MRI, EEG, cognitive tests, questionnaires). As a research assistant in her new role she was happy to apply her experience, curiosity and critical attitude to start a new project which is anticipated to bring together scientific knowledge and clinical practice.
Activities
Yudith mainly focused on setting up a project named PATROL. PATROL wants to use big data analysis techniques, in which it will be combining clinical, biological and imaging data into an individualized clinical prediction model for psychotherapy outcome
